OH MY GAWWDD!!!! It's FINALLY HERE!!!! *cheers* clink-clink*happy dance* After months of planning, dreaming, doing, learning, and doing over again; moments of disappointment and nights filled with doubts...who am I to chuck it all to the wind and decide to become an entrepreneur at 40 years old? You're a mom and a social worker...can I really make this happen and be even mildly successful, let alone wildly successful?
It's days filled with design team consults, endless emails, pouring over websites, ordering samples, fitting all the pieces together to create something that you love and hope the rest of the world does to. It's that moment when you leave the hospital with a new baby, or you present a new dish from a recipe you created, when you step out with a new style and embrace your new truth! This is that day for me!!
So, since I'm out here now, feeling all exposed yet empowered at the same time I figured why not add a little infotainment to this little bath and body e-boutique? My parents had a good friend in the 1970s who knew how to create a person's astrological birth chart...some real hippie shit I know but super cool too right?! According to him it's written in the stars that I add the "author" feather to my cap so here we go! Nothing Pulitzer worthy just monthly postings on various topics that I can relate to and that I hope will resonate with you also.
I'm thinking topics will range from everyday experiences that we may have in common, our challenges, achievements, fears, and hopes. To ways of incorporating more holistic solutions and remedies into your life-smoothie recipes, essential oils, mindfulness, and self-care reminders. I will always promote health, wellness and wellbeing, and progress...never perfection. My goal is to inform, entertain, empower, and engage all who click into my store and my stories to see what's on my mind. And since I probably talk to myself a little too much, I would love to read your comments, thoughts, and suggestions too. However, in the illustrious words of the fabulous Ms. Erykah Badu, "Keep in mind I'm an artist, and I'm sensitive about my shit", but I do believe in a positive productive exchange of ideas, or the occasional Yaasss, Thank you, or encouraging emoji is always appreciated ππππ!
And now, without further delay, Welcome! Welcome to the store! Welcome to the products! Welcome to my life!πππππ
